Description
Almost heavenly...the sun rose into the sky with multi-colored rays. What a beautiful way to begin the day! I took this image with my IPhone 4 while I was stopped in traffic on my way to work. For once, I was pleased that the school bus had stopped in front of me and the children were taking their time getting off the bus in front of their school. I was amazed that no one else seemed to notice the sky. I almost couldn't take my eyes away from it. I reached for my phone and took a few photographs of it. Eventually, I used this photograph to kick start an idea for a painting that I did not long after.
